QuickDraw Fund Control Supports AVON 39, The Walk to End Breast Cancer
At QuickDraw Fund Control, we care deeply about our clients and want to help them succeed in any way we can. So when our client, Freedom Financial Funds, had an employee participating in AVON 39: The Walk to End Breast Cancer, we wanted to help.
Our long time client, Minda Johnstone, is a Principal and Chief Credit Officer of Freedom Financial Funds. We’ve always been proud to support her as she participates in the annual AVON 39 Walk.
Minda has walked in the Santa Barbara AVON 39 Walk before, which helps raise funds to find a cure for breast cancer. This June, she will travel to Boston to join hundreds of other walkers in walking 39.3 miles over the course of two days. Minda personally goes through 24 weeks of training prior to each AVON 39 Walk she participates in.
Minda’s personal fundraising goal for 2017’s AVON 39 Walk is $3,600. To help Minda reach her goal, we at QuickDraw have contributed to her fundraising efforts. Funds raised for this event will be managed and disbursed by the AVON Breast Cancer Crusade. The money goes toward helping feed breast cancer patients and their families, as well as providing more access to mammograms, medicine, and research that will help save more lives.
One in every eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in her life. Minda has been personally touched by many victims and survivors, which is what inspires her to take part in these walks and help raise money.
QuickDraw is happy to support Minda in her fundraising efforts and bring awareness to great charitable events like AVON 39: The Walk to End Breast Cancer. It is important for us to give back to the community and help others whenever we can.
“We truly admire Minda’s hard work and efforts to make a difference in the lives of women affected by breast cancer,” said Greg Norris, Founder, and Principal of QuickDraw Fund Control. “We are humbled to help support and cheer her on!”
Everyone at QuickDraw wishes Minda the best in her training and her upcoming 39.3-mile walk in Boston this June. We will continue to support her and the AVON 39 Walks for many years to come, along with other charitable events and organizations that touch the lives of our employees, our community, and our business partners.
